- When exchanging rings, put them on slowly. Family and friends will also want to capture this moment as a photo.
- Make your kiss last a little longer than just a peck!
But hold back on the tongue!!
For the photo shoot:
- Find out what time the sun will set, and plan accordingly.
- Arrange for food and drinks to be available for you and the bridal party before we head off for photos. Or have some ready when we get back.
- Keep your family/friend photos to a minimum. They can take up a huge chunk of your photo time.
- Try not to be shy. If you want a certain style of photo, let us know. We are working for you!
- Organise a bottle of champagne and glasses for after the ceremony. They look great in photos
- Play up for the camera and have some fun.
- Smile and enjoy the happiest day of your life.
Wet weather planning:
- Do you have a wet weather plan for your ceremony? Ask your venue for options.
- Consider buying some umbrellas as back up, they make great props. We take some with us for you to use, but you can probably find ones to match your theme.
Gumboots are fun too!
- Some brides do not let the bad weather threaten their special day, by having a second dress for the reception. Then it doesn’t matter if your train gets wet and a little dirty. And your guests will get a BIG surprise when you turn up in a different dress!
- Spare shoes are a great idea for
the same reason. Even something else comfortable for dancing in.
